Venture Speaks: Fund Raising Orientation with Mission Alliance

Our Deputy Executive Director, Ms. Kiel S. Fernandez, shared her insights and expertise on the fundamentals of fund raising during Mission Alliance' Partners' Conference 2023 last November 17, 2023 in Novotel, Quezon City.


Mission Alliance is a diaconial international non-governmental organization that focuses on sustainable community development, particularly among the most vulnerable.




Central to the gathering were not only the dedicated members of Mission Alliance but also the invaluable presence of their esteemed partners:

Ms. Kiel opened the session by sharing 12 common fund raising myths and the corresponding tips to overcome the challenges presented by these. This was followed by additional insights regarding the systems needed to institutionalize the fund raising process, particularly the role of a database in the strategic cycle of raising funds.


The latter part of the discussion focused on fund raising vehicles  most suitable for grassroots communities. To help the participants gain more  understanding,  an interactive question and answer segment took place to wrap up the session.
