Groups of fund raisers and individuals from organizations addressing different sectors such as education, child protection, youth development, environment, care for the elderly, and disaster response and rehabilitation, participated in our Art of Corporate Asking Workshop last July 19.

The morning session discussed the corporate social responsibility in the Philippines, the different forms of corporate partnerships, and ways to access corporate support. The workshop also shared the step-by-step solicitation process and assisted the participants in crafting a data-driven, concise, and convincing fund raising pitch.

Later in the afternoon, our participants were given the opportunity to deliver their pitch and practice their face-to-face solicitation with ACTUAL corporate donors. A sharing session followed, wherein our guest donors shared their feedback and practical tips on how to further improve the participants’ pitch.

Thank you to all our participants from the following organizations:

  • ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation;
  • Angel C. Palanca Peace Program Foundation;
  • Bipa Technical Institute Foundation;
