On day 1, Ms. Lourdes Cortez, one of our Senior Program Managers, leveled the participants' understanding of what fund raising is and isn’t by presenting the basic resource mobilization concepts and principles. Our Executive Director, Ms. Pinky Medina, then shared the current fund raising trends and environment in the national, regional, and global level. The session continued to discuss how an organization’s fund raising initiatives should be anchored to its vision, mission, and strategic goals.

The afternoon session facilitated by our Senior Program Manager, Ms. April Mamaril, revolved around the different stakeholders who should be involved in the entire fund raising process. Day 1 concluded with a discussion on the different policies, systems, and structures that should be in place before fund raising commences.

On day 2, Ms. Pinky presented the different fund raising acquisition strategies that organizations can employ. Day 2 then closed with a discussion on several new strategies such as internet fund raising and direct response marketing facilitated by Ms. Lourdes.
On day 3, Ms. Pinky shared the different upgraded fund raising strategies such as major gift solicitation and grant writing. Earned income strategies and social enterprise was then facilitated by Ms. April. In the afternoon, Ms. Lourdes provided an overview of the basic indicators in monitoring and evaluating fund raising campaigns. The workshop concluded with a discussion on the step-by-step process of fund raising planning.

To make the workshop more participative, the course featured group activities and sharing sessions to also allow our participants to immediately put into practice the theories discussed in each session.

Our heartfelt gratitude to all our participants for your active participation and for sharing your experiences!
We hope that you found our workshop informative and worthwhile, and that you are now more excited and ready to do fund raising for your organizations! Happy friend raising!
