Last December 2-7, we were joined by Amnesty International Philippines (AIPh) for our last online Fund Raising Capacity Building and Planning Workshop in 2020!

The workshop took place over 3 half-days, split into 2-hour morning and afternoon sessions, and 1 whole day. The capacity building portion, composed of input sessions on the basics and fundamentals of professional fund raising, came first to level off all of the participants' resource mobilization knowledge. This was followed by the planning portion, the overall goal of which was the development of a medium-term fund raising plan to sustain and expand AIPh's programs.

The workshop was attended by a great combination of staff from the organization's Programs, Finance, and Communications units; representatives from AIPh's Youth Core Group; and members of AIPh's Board of Trustees.

Through a training needs and organizational assessment (TNA), the workshop was customized to the specific needs and perspectives of the organization as a whole. The results of the TNA were used to tailor the various workshop materials to AIPh's context.

Thank you very much to AIPh for your active participation and remarkable insights! We hope you learned and enjoyed the workshop as much as we did! Happy friend-raising and we look forward to working with you again soon!
