Fund Raising Capacity Building and Planning Workshop with Masayang Pamilya Organization

Venture successfully facilitated a Fund Raising Capacity Building and Planning Workshop with Masayang Pamilya Organization (MaPa) last August 27-28, and September 10, 2025. Held at the MaPa office in Quezon City, we explored effective fund raising approaches and assisted MaPa in mapping out a clear, strategic plan for its future resource mobilization program.

Masayang Pamilya Organization Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization that provides affordable evidence-based parent support intervention programs to reduce child maltreatment and to promote positive parent/caregiver-child relationship through positive playful parenting. Driven by their mission to expand their programs and reach more underserved families, MaPa took part in the workshop to build the tools and plans needed for its sustainable growth.


In this workshop, Our Executive Director, Ms. Pinky N. Medina, and Deputy Executive Director, Ms. Kiel S. Fernandez facilitated the discussions designed around MaPa’s fund raising priorities and needs. All materials and activities were carefully developed based on the findings from a comprehensive organizational assessment of fund raising readiness, as well as a training needs analysis conducted in collaboration with MaPa’s leadership and program teams. This tailored approach ensured that the workshop was both relevant and immediately actionable for the organization. By the end of the workshop, we were able to guide MaPa in creating a medium-term fund raising plan, which will provide them with a clear roadmap to strengthen their impact and reach more families.

Their openness, engagement, and commitment to strengthening their fundraising efforts made the sessions meaningful and productive.
